I have loved living in the vast Las Vegas, Nevada, desert for over 25 years. My family and I love hiking near our home, on the trails around Red Rock National Park, and in the beautiful Spring Mountains. My family is active and I thrive on supporting my daughters with nutrition and fitness advice as they strive for excellence in their sports that have included dance, soccer, volleyball, and track & field. As busy as my family is, I make it a priority to engage in my own self-care with nutrition, lifting weights, and running.
Nutrition and fitness have been life-long passions of mine, but it took breaking into my 40s to realize that I wanted helping others in this area to be a centerpiece of my life.
With the support of my great husband and 3 amazing daughters, I finished my BS in Business Admin and Management and then took on the challenges of obtaining my nutrition and personal training certifications through NASM certified providers. I worked with a company that amplified my conviction that restrictive eating and working to always be less were stifling for true progress and overall health and wellbeing. There I further cultivated my knowledge and experience through working with hundreds of clients.
My personal life experiences with pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy (twins and advanced maternal age), breastfeeding/ postpartum changes, plus the aging process and transition through perimenopause to post menopause have all been challenging but they've also delivered valuable opportunities for learning about the human body, various conditions, and aging for women and men.Through it all, one truth has emerged: There is no bad food!All food is fuel that can support the incredible human body. All bodies are good bodies deserving of care, nutrition, and enjoyable movement. I can help you find the appropriate mix of foods and movement to help you honor your amazing body while enjoying life to the fullest. Life involves food as part of making memories, building relationships, healing, and plain old surviving. We can work together to ensure you honor and achieve your goals while also enjoying life to the max. I am here to help you through it all.
